What Happened
Tribal voters from Pulaiyar community in Anamalai Tiger Reserve settlements undertook challenging treks to polling stations in Valparai Assembly constituency on Thursday. Despite difficult terrain and limited transportation, members from Keel Poonachi and Upper Aliyar settlements exercised their voting rights. The Attakatti polling station recorded participation from 286 listed voters, predominantly tribals and electricity board staff.
