What Happened
A 57-year-old BJP worker was allegedly assaulted by a resident in Ahmedabad's India Colony area on Monday during campaigning for April 26 AMC elections. The complainant, Dheeraj Mulji Rathod, claimed the accused Hasmukh Ramesh Vora slapped and pushed him after being refused permission to campaign. Police arrested the accused and launched investigation.
