Meta’s loss is Thinking Machines’ gain

What Happened

Weiyao Wang, an eight-year Meta employee who contributed to multimodal perception systems, has joined Thinking Machines Lab. TML recently secured a multibillion-dollar cloud deal with Google, accessing Nvidia's GB300 chips. Both companies are actively recruiting each other's talent, with TML hiring seven Meta founders and Meta recruiting TML researchers, including PyTorch co-founder Soumith Chintala.
