Mangaluru-Bengaluru Vande Bharat train to launch soon: Ashwini Vaishnaw

What Happened
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced the upcoming launch of Vande Bharat Express service between Mangaluru and Bengaluru. The semi-high-speed train will operate under South Western Railway zone. Technical requirements including electrification of Hassan-Mangaluru section and Automated Emergency Braking systems have been completed. Currently, 162 Vande Bharat trains operate nationwide.
