An inter-state gang posing as BSNL employees stole copper cables and modules from Bengaluru's telecommunications infrastructure between April 17-19, causing service disruptions. Police arrested three accused—Ravi (23), Sandeep (32), and Syed Jahed (40)—in Mathikere. The gang travelled from Uttar Pradesh to Bengaluru, targeting installations across multiple localities while wearing BSNL uniforms. One suspect remains absconding.
