After CWG, Olympics pitch, India now targets 2038 Asian Games

What Happened
India has expressed interest in hosting the 2038 Asian Games, following its successful bids for the 2036 Olympics and 2030 Commonwealth Games. The Indian Olympic Association formally wrote to the Olympic Council of Asia, with the proposal discussed at their Executive Board meeting in China. An OCA evaluation team will visit India to assess the bid. Ahmedabad will be the proposed host city.
